At The Elite Liquidators, we prioritize secure, transparent, and efficient transactions. Because wholesale liquidation often involves high-value, bulk freight orders, we maintain strict payment protocols to protect both our business and our buyers.
By placing an order on our website or directly with a sales representative, you agree to the payment terms outlined below.
1. Accepted Methods of Payment
All prices listed on our website are in US Dollars (USD). We currently accept the following forms of payment:
- Major Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
- Bank Wire Transfers: Recommended for large, multi-pallet, or truckload orders.
- Zelle / ACH Transfers: Available upon request for verified business accounts.
- Cash / Cashier's Check: Accepted only for local warehouse pickup at our Houston, TX location. Cashier's checks must be verified before freight is released.
2. Wire Transfer Policy
For orders exceeding a certain dollar threshold, or for complete truckload purchases, a Bank Wire Transfer may be required. This keeps processing fees low, allowing us to pass the maximum discount directly to you.
- If you choose "Wire Transfer" at checkout, you will be provided with our banking details via invoice.
- Your inventory is placed on a temporary 24-hour hold while we await the transfer.
- Orders are not processed, shrink-wrapped, or shipped until the wire transfer fully clears and is visible in our accounts. Please allow 1-2 business days for domestic wires to clear.
3. Fraud Prevention & Order Verification
The liquidation industry is a common target for credit card fraud. To protect against unauthorized transactions, we utilize advanced fraud-detection software. If your order is flagged by our system, it will be placed on hold.
Billing & Shipping Address Match
For all first-time credit card purchases, your billing address must match your shipping address exactly. If you need to ship freight to a commercial warehouse that differs from your credit card's billing address, you must contact our sales team to undergo manual verification, or utilize a Bank Wire Transfer.
4. Sales Tax & Tax Exemption
The Elite Liquidators operates out of Texas. We are required by law to collect applicable sales tax on orders shipped to specific jurisdictions unless you provide valid documentation proving your business is tax-exempt.
- Resellers: If you are purchasing goods for resale, you must submit a valid, signed State Resale Certificate or Tax Exemption Certificate prior to checkout.
- Once your certificate is reviewed and approved by our accounting team, your account will be marked as tax-exempt, and sales tax will be removed from your current and future eligible purchases.
- If an order is placed and paid for before your exemption certificate is submitted, we cannot refund the collected sales tax.
5. Payment Security
Your security is our top priority. We do not directly store your credit card information on our local servers. All online credit card transactions are processed through highly secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways equipped with standard SSL encryption.
