Order Processing Time
At The Elite Liquidators, we understand that time is money. Once your order is placed and payment is cleared, our warehouse team begins prepping your pallet(s) immediately.
Standard processing time is 2 to 4 business days. During peak holiday seasons or major liquidation events, processing times may be slightly extended. Once your pallet is shrink-wrapped, banded, and loaded onto the freight truck, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and carrier details.
LTL Freight Shipping Guidelines
Because of the massive size and weight of wholesale merchandise, our pallets ship via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Freight Carriers. This process differs significantly from standard parcel delivery (like UPS or FedEx Home).
Commercial Delivery: Delivery to a commercially zoned address with a loading dock or a forklift on-site is the fastest and most cost-effective shipping method.
Residential Delivery: We absolutely ship to residential addresses! However, freight carriers charge a mandatory residential delivery fee. Additionally, if you do not have a forklift at your home, you must request a liftgate service at checkout. The truck driver will use a hydraulic lift to lower the pallet to the street level.
*Note: Freight drivers are not allowed to move the pallet into your home or garage. They will drop it at the curb or the end of your driveway.
Receiving & Inspecting Your Shipment
When the freight truck arrives, the driver will ask you to sign a document called the Bill of Lading (BOL). Your signature on this document legally acknowledges that you received the merchandise in good condition.
Critical Action Required: Inspect Before You Sign
Before signing the BOL, you MUST visually inspect the pallet. If the shrink wrap is torn, the bands are broken, or the boxes appear crushed, you must note the damage in writing directly on the driver's BOL before signing it. If you sign a clean BOL and later discover shipping damage, the freight carrier will deny the insurance claim.
